Course Registration
Course Types
Ten-day courses are an introductory course to Vipassana Meditation where the technique is taught step-by-step each day. The courses begin after a 2-4 pm registration period and orientation, followed by 10 full days of meditation, and end the morning of the 11th day by 7:30am. See the Code of Discipline for more details, and then complete the application form. Bilingual courses are courses which are taught in two languages. All students will hear daily meditation instructions in both languages. The evening discourses will be heard separately. Children's courses are designed for children 8 to 12 years of age, preferably accompanied by an adult meditator of this tradition. Visit our Childrens Course page for information and application forms. Teen courses are designed for teenagers 13-16 years of age, as an introduction to meditation. Visit our Teen Course page for information and application forms. Off-site courses are held at a rented site, not at the Vipassana Meditation Center. These courses are the same as a course held at a center in both structure and teaching. For information or to apply for off-site courses you must contact the course organizers directly. Registration is not handed by the Vipassana Meditation Center, Dhamma Dharā.
